Pastor Lyle Southwell is Senior Pastor at Maitland Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Raised in ‘The Apple Isle’, Tasmania, Pastor Lyle trained as a cabinet maker before accepting God’s call to ministry. Following the Lord’s leading he enrolled in Hartland College (www.hartland.edu) in Rapidan, Virginia USA, where he studied Pastoral Evangelism. Since finishing in 1994 Pastor Lyle has served in full-time ministry specialising in public evangelism, personal evangelism and church planting. Widely recognised as one Australia’s leading public evangelists, Pastor Lyle is also a well-known authority on the ancient codes, symbols and prophecies of Scripture. Before joining Maitland Church Pastor Lyle served as Director of Discovery Centres for the South Pacific Division (SPD) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church based at the Adventist Media Network (www.adventistmedia.org.au) in Sydney. Happily married to Michele, a Retail Merchandising Specialist and native of Wisconsin, USA, Pastor Lyle is the proud father of two sons. When not exploring history and bible prophesy Pastor Lyle enjoys spending his spare time four-wheel driving, camping and sailing. He is also currently work on restoring and modifying a 1961 Bedford truck.

Braedan Entermann is part of the Pastoral Team at Maitland Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Raised in Ipswich in the Sunshine State, Queensland, Braedan is currently studying Theology at Avondale College of Higher Education (www.avondale.edu.au) and serves as Intern Pastor working with the Church youth to make the gospel clear and accessible to them.
Braedan’s passion in ministry is being involved in personal discipleship. He says, “Introducing people to my Saviour and equipping them to share Him with others is my greatest joy.” Braedan also has a special burden to minister to the youth, “Every one of them has gifts and talents that God can use to bless the world.”
Braedan’s vision for Maitland Church is that its members will daily grow in their devotion, commitment and service to both God and man. He says, “There is no reason under heaven why Maitland Church cannot be the healthiest church on the face of the earth.” Braedan’s desire for Maitland Church is that it might bring joy to heaven by reaching souls for Christ–one person at a time.
In his spare time Braedan enjoys all things outdoors including, snowboarding, hiking, camping, cycling, running, and swimming! He also has a great love of music, including singing and playing both guitar and piano.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” Proverbs 3:5,6
Braedan says … “This verse reveals that trusting dependence upon God is the key to finding meaning, purpose and direction in this life and preparation for the next.”
